Miss Greek SFA 2009UPDATE: Congratulations Amy Martens of Delta Zeta; winner, Miss Greek SFA 2010!!

Thanks to the support of SFA, its' students, and the Nacogdoches community, Miss Greek 2010 raised 2100 dollars this year for Mother Against Drunk Driving!!

--------------------------------------------

It's time for the 3rd annual Miss Greek SFA!!

This Wednesday, March 3rd at 7pm, in the Grand Ballroom of the Baker Pattillo Student Center.  With participation from 8 different sororities representing every Greek Council on campus, TKE is expecting attendance in excess of 500 people.  Tickets are five dollars at the door, and ALL proceeds are donated to Mothers Against Drunk Driving.

Miss Greek SFA has become one of the most anticipated events on campus for all those who are in Greek organizations, and for those who want to watch a very entertaining night of talented sorority women raise money for Mothers Against Drunk Driving.  In only it's second year, Miss Greek raised nearly 1400 dollars for MADD.  Now in it's third year, the fraternity expects to raise well over 2000 dollars for MADD.

The Miss Greek SFA pageant involves two contestants from each participating sorority. The contestants are judged on four categories: casual walk, formal dress, a talent portion, and a question and answer round (which will consist of alcohol abuse questions). The audience is also given a ticket as soon as they enter the ballroom, and once the pageant is over, the audience members use that ticket to vote for the contestant they want to win.

A MADD representative will be on hand to judge and to receive their check.
