Chapter House

There is as much history with our houses as with anything else in our Chapter. For starters, Tau Kappa Epsilon is recognized at SFA for having the very first Greek Fraternity house in 1969.
The original TKE house was located across from where Wal Mart is now located, and it still stands today. It currently operates as a dentist's office.

Our current house has the most history. In fact, it was once part of this Fraternity before. It stood on North Street where Chili's currently stands. In 2001, thanks to hard work by our Board of Advisors, a housing corporation was established, and our house purchased. The decision was made to relocate the house to the TKE land, two and a half acres just outside the Loop in Nacogdoches.

The house is two stories, has four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a full kitchen, game room, a pool table, and living/chapter room. The house is surrounded on three sides by a deck measuring over 1000 Sq Ft.. We have a full, 80' by 40' sand volleyball court. We have many brotherhoods, chapter events, and rush events at the house every year.

A big deal every year, is the TKE Homecoming bonfire held at the house with our alumni at midnight after the SFA bonfire.
Chapter members who live at the house have consistently recorded a significantly higher GPA than the average student at SFA.
The future of the house includes a furter expanded deck, new interior upgrades, and a fully paved parking lot.
