E-mail Print PDF

Jeff H. Davis was named executive director of alumni affairs at Stephen F. Austin State University by the Board of Regents Tuesday. Davis, a 2002 graduate of SFA, has served as interim director since September.

“Jeff has earned the respect of alumni, friends, university staff, and the local community while he served on the association’s staff and as interim director,” said Dr. Michael Harbordt, president of the SFA Alumni Association.

“He will bring an enthusiasm to the job which, when combined with his natural leadership ability and genuine concern for people, will grow the association’s services. For Jeff, this is a lifestyle commitment – not just a job.”

Davis first joined alumni affairs as director of development in February 2006. In that role, he supervised alumni fundraising, scholarships and membership solicitations.
